DesignPippin's body type is based on a mouse. He has a smooth egg-shaped head with a pointy snoot, two little dot eyes, and a chunky little body. A furry mane puffs around his neck, and little twiggy legs poke out from beneath him. His tail is made up from a few long pieces of gray fur. He is about half a pint in size.

Nature Features
Pippin has pink muscatel grapes on his head and his rump. Three on his head in a staggered line, and one occasionally appearing on his rump. Two leaves from this plant sprout from his rump as mock wings. Two vines curl on his head as mock antennae, and occasionally sum sprout from the leaves as well! |
About the EskHe's an anxious little bean who's eager to know the world but simultaneously terrified of interacting with it.
His original form was a fruit fly, so being the size of a mouse with real emotions and thoughts is kind of scary. New places, loud or abrasive noises, and overstimulating interactions are really hard on little Pippin. He's trying his best. His big brother Cielo does a good job at looking after him. He's teaching him little things at a time and walking him through this whole "life" thing. Pippin generally won't leave Cielo's side, they are genuine buddies. |

Origin Story
On the sketchy side of Tacoma, in a quiet market after hours, a dim lamp flickered and hummed. Sweet-smelling crates of fruits sat open on the shelves and stacked on the floor. Around the produce flittered dozens of little fruit flies ecstatic about an unprotected dinner. One of the windows had been left ajar, and an explorative Cielo ducked inside.
It was dark except for the evening light filtering through the dirty windows and the electric lamp left buzzing. The air was thick and sweet from overripe fruits left out in the open to get old, as though the owner had forgotten it altogether. Across the way there was a clatter as a broom fell to the floor, some unsteady support finally giving out.
Cielo scampered around the fruits and flies through little puddles of water on the unkempt floor. The flickering lamp piqued his interest, and his gaze followed its glow to the floor where it reflected in one of the splashes. There was a little fruit fly was struggling in the puddle. It's little legs wriggled about helplessly and its wings were saturated with moisture.
As Cielo looked at the tiny creature he felt a little stir inside him. He crept towards it gently and extended a paw. With the smallest nudge the fruit fly shifted into somewhat of a spinning diamond. It spun and spun faster and faster, until there was a burst of light too bright to see through. When it settled, there laid Pippin. His eyes were wide, his legs stiffly stretched out and clinging to the floor. He shakily raised his head to look up at Cielo. The terror was quite apparent.
"It's okay." Cielo said, "I'll help you." And so Cielo scooped Pippin up onto his snoot, and a friendship was formed.
